Systems Engineering

 

Isdefe, as a Systems Engineering organization, applies scientific and engineering techniques in its activities, based on using a reiterative process of definition, synthesis, analysis, design, trial and evaluation to transform the client’s operational need into a description of system service and configuration parameters. Along these lines, Isdefe integrates related technical parameters and ensures the compatibility of all physical and functional exchanges to obtain the optimal definition and design for complete systems. Finally, Isdefe integrates reliability, maintenance, security, personnel survival, and other similar aspects into the global engineering process to achieve technical, cost, and timeline objectives.

Systems Engineering encompasses both the development and implementation of appropriate techniques as well as the management and leadership know-how needed to make these a reality. Successful implementation of systems engineering requires:

  1. Using a top-down focus, seeing the system as a whole.

  2. Considering the entire life cycle of the system, taking into account all its phases, including system design and development, production and/or building, distribution, operating life, the support and maintenance during its operating life, termination and removal (disposal).

  3. An improved and more complete effort in defining the system’s requirements, relating these requirements to specific design criteria based on these objectives, as well as ongoing analysis efforts to ensure the effectiveness of the decisions adopted in the early stages of the design phase.

  4. A multifunctional team effort throughout the process of system design and development, to ensure the effective and efficient achievement of all design objectives.
