C4I systems provide security and defence forces with the ability to analyze available information at strategic, operational, and tactical levels, as well as providing support for decision-making involving complex problems, in dynamic and attrition-prone settings.

C4I systems are operational in any situation, in all types of military operations, both peace-related, for crisis management, and in response to emergencies.

Isdefe provides technical support for the procurement of Command and Control systems throughout all phases of the life cycle, providing clients with the necessary support to obtain guarantees pertaining to technical results while minimizing the risks associated with deadlines for bringing systems online as well as with costs incurred.

Isdefe participates in international work groups that provide a detailed technical understanding of the trends in C4I systems in NATO and neighbouring allied nations.

Among the areas of expertise related to obtaining Command and Control systems, of special note is the group’s technical and management support provided to large information and communications systems and platforms, the defining of concepts and roadmapping of the NEC initiative, the defining of interoperability requirements between Command and Control (national systems with NATO’s) and its involvement in multinational cartographic production programmes.
