The International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) is an international, non-profit, membership association founded in 1990 to develop and spread the interdisciplinary principles and practices of systems engineering. 

INCOSE uses a systematic approach to tackle complex technical and social challenges by promoting and advancing systems engineering. 

INCOSE has members in 35 countries, including the most advanced in the world in this field, such as the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Canada, Norway, Germany and others. 

The blue Room at the Madrid Deep Space Communications Complex hosted the ceremony to present its newly appointed director, Major General (Ret.) Moisés Manuel Fernández Álvaro.

17 Isdefe professionals have arranged for more than 20 talks at different educational centres across the Community of Madrid as part of the "February 11 Initiative", a platform that showcasing the role of women in science and fostering scientific vocations among youth, thereby supporting the commemoration of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science.

Isdefe engineer Juan Manuel Secades Sánchez has been recognised by the American space agency for his dedication and faithful service to the Deep Space Network (DSN), part of NASA’s Space Communications and Navigation (SCaN) programme. Since 2015, Mr Juan Manuel Secades has been a contract manager at the Madrid Deep Space Communications Complex (MDSCC) in Robledo de Chavela.

Krakow hosted, from January 28 to 30, the 6th edition of the international Combat Logistics conference, organised by Defence Leader, with support from the British Navy, in association with the Movement Coordination Center Europe (MCCM).

It was with these words that General Miguel Ángel Ballesteros Martín, Director of the National Security Department (DSN) of the Cabinet Office of Spain spoke about Isdefe at the opening of the 7th Security and Cyberdefence Workshop (CIBERSEG 2020).

The Polytechnic School of the University of Alcalá is hosting this workshop that, on 22 and 23 January, is dealing with key topics like cyberintelligence, ransomware attacks and other computer threats.

The 13th STIC CCN-CERT Conference took place on 10, 11 and 12 December in Madrid, organised by the National Centre for Cryptology (CCN), an agency of the National Centre for Intelligence (CNI).

Opened by the acting Minister of Defence, Ms Margarita Robles, the event boasted over 3,300 attendees, 130 renowned speakers, 7 modules on different themes, 16 practical workshops and 60 corporate sponsors, including Isdefe. 

Isdefe has published its 2018 Annual Report, which describes the company’s results and its activity, reporting on the organisation’s performance in three areas of sustainability: financial, social and environmental.

Ever since the first congress, Isdefe has provided the venue for the main annual event of the Association of Spanish Graduates in Security and Defence (ADESyD), which, under the slogan “Sharing (visions of) Security”, brings together partners, experts, VIPs, institutions and the public at large to take part in this forum where they debate, reflect and analyse, and where they can share their views and knowledge on defence and security issues.

At the initial workshop on Maintenance Reliability, Mr Gonzalo Santamaría Freire, Head of the Army Maintenance Unit of Isdefe’s Consulting and Strategic Process Management Office, presented the work that he carried out alongside Isdefe engineer Mr Ernesto Palomar Moreno on reliability and maintenance in designing the hosting scheme for the Galileo Security Monitoring Centre (GSMC).
