Isdefe’s CEO, Mr Francisco Quereda, and the Director of Planning and Financing, Mr Victor Díaz, took part in the “2nd Public Contracting Workshop: Analysis of In-House Resources in the Current Legal System”, which was organised on 25 April by the National Audit Office of the General Intervention Board of the State Administration (IGAE) and the Institute of Fiscal Studies, both part of the Revenue Ministry.
On 8 and 9 April, Isdefe organised and hosted at its headquarters a “Practical Seminar on Managing European Funds: Present and Future”, which featured representatives from the European Institute of Public Administration (EIPA) and the European Commission.
Under the “Universe 4.0, the digital transformation in defence” slogan, the 5th edition of the Defence Maintenance and Modernisation Workshop (SYMDEX) was held in Madrid, at the Army’s Advanced Technical School, from 2 to 4 April.
On March 26, the Capability-Driven Defence Research and Innovation Conference was held on March 26. This conference was organised by the Romanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union and Romania’s National Defence Ministry, in concert with the European Defence Agency (EDA).
The conference brought together more than 500 high-level officials from European Union institutions, defence ministries, research bodies, industry and academia.
On Monday, 1 April, Isdefe’s CEO, Mr Francisco Quereda Rubio, along with the Director of Business Development, Mr Jesús M. Alonso Martín and the Deputy Director, Mr Juan M. García Montaño, attended the working breakfast hosted by the Association of Public Administration Contracting Companies (AESMIDE).
AESMIDE is a non-profit association whose purpose is to act as an intermediary between service and supply companies and Spain’s Ministry of Defence. It represents 60 contractors for the Ministry of Defence and other public administrations from Spain and other countries.
