 Presentation of 2016 Spanish Navy Awards

  On 12 December at 7:30 pm, the 2016 “Virgen del Carmen” Navy Awards was be presented at an event hold in the Navy headquarters building. The purpose of these awards, which were created 77 years ago, in 1939, is to disseminate naval culture.

This event brought together officials, institutions and professionals in the industry and was featured by the Minister of Defence and the Navy Chief of Staff.

Isdefe takes part in the workshop “Robotics and unmanned systems for security applications”

The Spanish Network of Robotics and Mechatronics (REDROM) and the Spanish Society for Robotics Research and Development are organising a workshop on “Robotics and unmanned systems for security applications”.  This gathering will take place at the School of Industrial Engineers in Madrid on 2 December. 

The goal of this forum is to share R&D proposals and programmes in the area of robotics and security. Government organisations, academia, research centres and security companies, among many others, will present their applications and advances in this area.

Isdefe hosts the 3rd ADESyD Congress

Today, Isdefe is holding the 3rd Congress of the Association of Spanish Graduates in Security and Defence, under the slogan “Sharing (visions of) Security”. 

Our Director of Business Development, Mr Jesús Alonso Martín, will give the opening address at this gathering, which will be inaugurated by the Honourable Josep Piqué, the former Minister of Foreign Affairs and member of the Honorary Council of ADESyD.

Isdefe takes part in the new edition of the International Security Workshop on “International Terrorism. Threats and Responses”

A new edition of the International Security Workshop will be held on 29 and 30 November 2016. It is being organised by Spain’s National Police and Civil Guard, in cooperation with TEDAE, the Counter-Terrorism and Organised Crime Intelligence Centre (CITCO) and the Technology Security Centre (CETSE).

This year’s theme is “International Terrorism. Threats and Responses”. This event offers a forum where police experts and security industry professionals will debate the phenomenon of international terrorism.
