The Congress of Systems Engineering Applied to Defence will be held on Thursday, 25 November 2021.
Organised by Ingeniería de Sistemas para la Defensa de España (Isdefe) and the Spanish Association of Systems Engineering (AEIS), in cooperation with the Advanced Centre for National Defence Studies (CESEDEN), it seeks to help disseminate the discipline of systems engineering in Spain and it is aimed at Defence and Security professionals in the Public Administration, academia and industry.
Isdefe had an information point at the stand of the Ministry of Defence, a stand that received high-ranking officials from the Ministry and the Armed Forces.
The International Defence and Security Fair, organised by the FEINDEF Foundation with institutional support from the Ministry of Defence, was held from 3 to 5 November in pavilions 8 and 10 of the IFEMA facilities.
The success of the Fair is reflected in the more than 300 exhibitors, 75 delegations, 100+ media outlets, and over 12,000 visitors.
Isdefe set up a stand at this Congress, which was held almost two years after its last edition.
Held at the IFEMA fairgrounds in Madrid, this year’s event was opened by His Majesty King Felipe VI.
The World ATM Congress, organised by the Civil Air Navigation Services Organization (CANSO) in collaboration with the Air Traffic Control Association (ATCA), is the largest air navigation show, bringing together executives and specialists from the sector. It was held from 26 to 28 October.
Ms Margarita Robles, the Minister of Defence, visited our Company's headquarters on Monday, 25 October, where she was welcomed by the Secretary of State for Defence and President of Isdefe, Ms Esperanza Casteleiro, the Chief Executive Officer, Mr Francisco Quereda, the Director of Business Development, Mr Jesús M. Alonso, the Director of Financial and Economic Planning, Ms Mercedes Recio, the Director of Administration and HR, Ms Carmen Canda, and the Director of Operations, Mr Daniel Acuña.
From 16 to 24 October, Alcalá de Henares was home to Mobile Week.
Over these nine days, this event hosted over 50 conferences, showrooms and round tables with some of Spain’s technology leaders in order to boost ties between the public, corporations, academia and institutions that promote innovation.
The Mobile Week schedule included over 200 hours of activities for children and adults, and more than 100 innovative projects were presented by companies and university research groups.
