1st Innovation Week: "Isdefe through Space"

1st Innovation Week: "Isdefe through Space"

On 20, 21 and 22 April, Isdefe organised at its facilities the 1st Innovation Week.

"Isdefe through Space" was the theme chosen for this inaugural Innovation Week.

Isdefe, committed to innovation and to the goals of the 2030 Agenda, is organising this event to have its central day coincide with World Creativity and Innovation Day, established by the United Nations.

The UN, at its General Assembly on 27 April 2017, established 21 April as World Creativity and Innovation Day with the goal of promoting multidisciplinary creative thinking that can help achieve a sustainable future, and invited all organisations to celebrate this day in order to create greater awareness of the role of creativity and innovation in solving problems and, by extension, in economic and social development.

By institutionalising this Innovation Week, Isdefe has set itself the goal of continuing to promote an innovative culture at Isdefe, share knowledge, experience and results, reward and recognise Isdefe employees for taking part in the Programme to Gather and Manage R&D Ideas, and other activities related to innovation.

This enhances the creation of synergies between departments and increases Isdefe's interaction with its peers and with the organisations to which its provides its services as the government's in-house resource.

The agenda planned for these three days includes round tables, debates/colloquia, technical conferences, internal workshops, the presentation of the 7th edition of the Programme to Gather and Manage R&D Ideas, and the presentation of the Gymkana Innovation Awards and the Children's Competition organised for this purpose.

On 21 April, the Debate-Colloquium "PERTE AEROSPACE" (PERTE stands for Strategic Plan for Economic Recovery and Transformation) will be freely streamed at the following link: https://vimeo.com/event/2020783, and on 22 April, the technical workshop "SCIENTIFIC-TECHNOLOGICAL COOPERATION IN SPACE" will also be freely streamed at https://vimeo.com/event/2020793.
