1st Workshop to welcome Isdefe trainees

On Thursday, 9 May, the 1st workshop to welcome trainees who are doing their internships at the company was held at the assembly hall in Isdefe’s headquarters

The workshop, organised by Isdefe’s Internship Programme Management Committee, was created to welcome the interns, improve their knowledge of the company and exchange impressions and experiences in an informal setting. These interns could someday become part of the company’s staff.

The event began with welcoming remarks from Isdefe’s CEO, Mr Francisco Quereda, and was presented by the Director of Administration and Human Resources, Mr Jesús Mª Pérez and the Director of Business Development, Mr Jesús Alonso.

The workshop included two roundtables: “The Company”, which provided an overview of Isdefe’s mission and vision and explained the values, organisational structure and areas of activity of Isdefe, and which presented the programme “TACTICS: Alliance for your future”, Isdefe’s talent recruitment programme to select and train the best candidates. 

The second roundtable, “The People”, featured Mr José Luis Sánchez, an engineer at Isdefe, who spoke of his long professional tenure at Isdefe until he retired; Alfonso Alcol, an engineer who had worked at Isdefe for years and who currently works at OCCAR; and Mr Carlos Abellas, a young Isdefe engineer who started his career with a grant from the Citius programme before joining the staff. All of them underscored the company’s integration values, the generosity of co-workers and the relevance of Isdefe’s projects, which they described as being “top-level engineering projects”. 

During the workshop, Mr Oscar Cubillo, director of expansion and development of FUE, noted that “TACTICS: Alliance for your future”, which is Isdefe’s implementation of the Citius programme, has an overall satisfaction score of 8.6 among those young people who intern at Isdefe, and a 100% satisfaction rate with the development of the training programme.

The workshop culminated with a review of the awards, mentions and/or recognitions received by Isdefe in recent years, and at the completion, a networking session was held where interns and others in attendance were able to share their impressions of this new stage in their lives.
