On 30 June Isdefe CEO Francisco Quereda, along with the director of the Governance, Transparency and Quality Department, Teresa Gerique, and the head of CSR, Rocío Beltrán, attended the ceremony to sign the Collaboration Agreement in compliance with AGENDA 2030.

In conjunction with 17 other public entities and companies, Isdefe has ratified its commitment to this United Nations promoted initiative, given that signing this agreement with the Secretary of State for Agenda 2030 implies "a strengthening in the implementation of the sustainable development goals in Spain" as indicated by the Secretary of State for Agenda 2030, Enrique Santiago, who hosted the event and also pointed to "the firm commitment of the General State Administration, including companies and state public entities in implementing Agenda 2030 and the 2030 Sustainable Development Strategy".

The Secretary of State thanked the more than 60,000 employees of the signatory companies, "who extend the values ​​of public service, environmental protection, reduction of gender gaps, social inclusion, territorial cohesion and sustainable economic development in all corners of our country every day, in a wide range of our economic fabric's sectors and that truly demonstrated their contribution to the country during the pandemic by providing many of the essential services in a time of great need".

Among other measures, the agreement includes partnering in the exchange of good practices to implement the SDGs and their targets, and the development of joint projects on this issue including the certifications of goods and services and sharing outreach activities.

Isdefe joined the United Nations Global Compact in 2009 as a public company and supports Agenda 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), approved by the United Nations in 2015, which constitute a new global social contract to transform the world.
