Airport management debated at the Spanish Institute of Engineering.

The Official Association of Aeronautical Engineers (COIAE) is holding a conference on airport management on Friday, 4 November at the Spanish Institute of Engineering. Under the theme “Airport Management. Models for Success”, it will debate the efficiency of airport business models.

The forum will be opened by Estefanía Matesanz, Dean of the Official Association of Aeronautical Engineers of Spain, and will feature various presentations and two roundtables. José Manuel Hesse, Director of Operations at Isdefe, will take part in the first roundtable, on management models from the stakeholders’ perspective. The second will address airport design as an example of efficiency in business.

Isdefe is committed to developing solutions that optimise the operations of management centres and strategies for protecting systems and facilities. As a leading systems engineering and consulting firm, Isdefe spearheads projects that develop information systems and integrated management centres for the port industry to aid it in its decision-making process.
Its successes include developing the management model for the Airport Management Centre at the Madrid-Barajas Adolfo Suárez Airport, a centre that has become a benchmark for other national projects.
