On March 7, a new edition of the World ATM Congress will start at the IFEMA fairgrounds in Madrid’s Campo de las Naciones. Isdefe will be present at stand 1215 of this Congress, which is one of the most important international events on air traffic management.

This fifth edition of the World ATM Congress is shaping up to be the largest event for the industry this tear. The fourth edition of the Congress gathered nearly 7,000 professionals from 125 countries and 225 aviation companies, including 79 air navigation providers.

This event is sponsored by the Civil Aviation Navigation Services Organisation (CANSO), which groups air traffic control providers from all over the world, and by the Air Traffic Control Association (ATCA), an American aviation industry institution.

Isdefe supports services providers like ENAIRE (air navigation) and AENA (Airports), regulators and authorities like the DGAC (Civil Aviation General Directorate) and AESA (National Aviation Safety Agency), and it cooperates with other international organisations like the European Commission, Eurocontrol, SESAR (Single European Sky ATM Research) and EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency).

On Wednesday the 8th, Jesús López Pino, from Business Development Direction of Isdefe along with experts from the UPM, will give a workshop at 16:45 on “New Challenges in ATM: 4D Flight Paths and RPA Integration" in the Tower Theatre area.
