Isdefe awarded NATO’s PMIC Project

After an international bidding process, the NATO agency responsible for implementing, maintaining and supporting the NCIA’s (NATO Communications and Information Agency) information and communications systems has once again selected IBM Netherlands and Isdefe to help manage its communications programmes through the PMIC (Programme Management and Integration Capability) Project.

Through this contract, which is now being formalised, the NCIA provides continuity to the work that IBM and Isdefe have been engaged in since 2011 through the Bi-SC AIS (Bi-Strategic Command Automated Information System) and NGCS (NATO General Purpose Segment Communication System) programme office, which combines the development of command, control, communications and surveillance (C4ISR) services for NATO’s Command Structure Headquarters (NCS-HQ) and communications network.
