On Friday, 21 February professionals from the business world, government and academia analysed the outlook and professional opportunities for aeronautical engineers at the Live the Aeronautical Engineering Profession congress, organised by the Official College of Aeronautical Engineers of Spain (COIAE).
Mr. José Manuel Hesse, a COIAE member and Director of Operations at Isdefe, was in charge of moderating the round table discussion addressing the outlook for aeronautical engineers in the business and government spheres.
The event, opened by Angel Luis Arias, Enaire General Director and "Engineer of the Year 2016", featured a total of six round tables analysing the most important aspects of the profession, including professional prospects, with a view to airports and navigation, as well as dual degrees, studies abroad, doctorates, and the certifying Master's degree.
In parallel, an open competition was organised for certified aeronautical engineers and students for degrees and certifying Master's degrees in Aeronautical Engineering, aimed at promoting ground-breaking ideas regarding solutions for the sector and industry.
The event was closed by Ms. Cristina de Bustos, COIAE treasurer and General Director of CITD Engineering & Technologies; and Mr. José Manuel Hesse, a member of the Official College of Aeronautical Engineers of Spain and Director of Operations at Isdefe.
