Isdefe joins the “Caring Company, Extraordinary Company" campaign

The “Caring Company, Extraordinary Company" campaign was launched by the Revenue Ministry in 2019 and coordinated by the Third Sector Platform.

It is a voluntary campaign through which companies can decide whether to check the “Caring X” box in their corporate tax return, which allocates 0.7% of their taxes to social causes.

The campaign involves checking box 00073 in Form 200, and box 069 in Form 220, of the corporate tax returns.

The government, third-sector NGOs and the corporate sector encourage companies to check the relevant boxes starting on 1 July to help achieve a fairer, more egalitarian and inclusive society. This is a free and voluntary gesture that is a win-win for everyone involved.

Through this gesture, Isdefe becomes an #EmpreXaquemarcan, a company that, by checking these boxes on its tax return, pays back part of its profits to society to improve people’s quality of life and fight poverty.

Last year, this campaign raised 36 million euros, which were earmarked to subsidise social projects that will be used to rebuild Spanish society in the wake of the pandemic and uphold the rights of people who need it most.

The campaign also contributes to the 2030 Agenda by achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). SDG 1, End poverty, SDG 10, Reduce inequality, SDG 5, Gender equality, SDG 8, Decent work and economic growth, SDG 16, Peace, justice and strong institutions, and SDG 17, Partnerships to achieve the remaining goals set by the United Nations.
