Isdefe is part of the “Sustainable Development Goals Ambition - SDG Ambition” international programme

SDG Ambition is an initiative of the Global Compact whose goal is to set ambitious corporate targets and accelerate the integration of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) into core business management.

This is a pioneering programme that applies a new methodology that will help companies to modify their operations and interactions with stakeholders. It relies on process design to ensure that sustainable development initiatives and goals are hardwired into the corporate strategy in an effort to have a substantial impact on the SDG.

The integration plan for these companies will end in July. Internationally, the programme features 600 organisations, 67 of them Spanish, including Isdefe.

SDG Ambition allows companies to go beyond incremental progress and step-up transformative change, unlocking business value, building business resilience and enabling long-term growth.

Isdefe manages its CSR policy through its Governance, Transparency and Quality Department, and joined the United Nations Global Compact back in 2009.

Ever since, Isdefe’s CSR unit has carried out various projects, including some intended to speed up compliance with those sustainable development goals that seek to eradicate poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all as part of a new sustainable development agenda.
