The 13th STIC CCN-CERT Conference took place on 10, 11 and 12 December in Madrid, organised by the National Centre for Cryptology (CCN), an agency of the National Centre for Intelligence (CNI).
Opened by the acting Minister of Defence, Ms Margarita Robles, the event boasted over 3,300 attendees, 130 renowned speakers, 7 modules on different themes, 16 practical workshops and 60 corporate sponsors, including Isdefe.
Under the theme “Community and Trust. Foundations of our Cybersecurity”, the Kinépolis Ciudad de la Imagen complex in Madrid hosted the conference, which dealt with subjects such as technological threats, attacks and challenges; prevention in cybersecurity; military operations in cyberspace; misinformation and cybercrime, and more.
One new addition this year was the 16 technical workshops (CCN-CERT Labs), which brought together over 200 cybersecurity experts and featured a Hacker Arena, a cybersecurity contest in which participants attempted to solve five challenges posed by the CCN-CERT.
At the closing ceremony, General Félix Sanz Roldán, the former director of the CNI, received the CCN Award for a career devoted to cybersecurity.
Isdefe sponsored this conference, during which it received a certificate verifying its status as a corporate partner of the 13th CCN-CERT Conference.
