Isdefe takes part in the Air Force Awards for Excellence in Maintenance and Safety

The 34th Air Force Awards for Excellence and Safety were presented yesterday, 6 October, at the reception hall in the Air Force headquarters. 

These awards recognise the work of those units and personnel devoted to service and excellence in the areas of maintenance and safety, and who enable the Air Force’s constant evolve into a body that is safer, more modern, efficient and operational.

José Manuel Hesse Martín, Isdefe’s Director of Operations, and the Head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Lieutenant General Juan Antonio Carrasco Juan, presented the Engineering Award to Captain José Lage Fernández, who is stationed in the Air Force’s Material Logistics Centre.

Through its presence at this event, Isdefe, the in-house service provider for the Ministry of Defence and the Spanish government, once again demonstrates its support for the Air Force and its pledge to reward on-the-job excellence in the areas of maintenance and safety thanks to the devotion and commitment of its professionals through the application of best practices, new technologies and innovation
