Isdefe takes part in the new edition of the International Security Workshop on “International Terrorism. Threats and Responses”

A new edition of the International Security Workshop will be held on 29 and 30 November 2016. It is being organised by Spain’s National Police and Civil Guard, in cooperation with TEDAE, the Counter-Terrorism and Organised Crime Intelligence Centre (CITCO) and the Technology Security Centre (CETSE).

This year’s theme is “International Terrorism. Threats and Responses”. This event offers a forum where police experts and security industry professionals will debate the phenomenon of international terrorism.

The goal of this workshop is to discuss the security threats facing our law enforcement agencies and the technological responses offered by industry to counter them.
Mr Jesús Alcázar de Federico, Head of Intelligence and Homeland Security at Isdefe’s Defence and Security Office, will take part in a roundtable on “The control of the EU’s internal and external borders and their importance in the fight against international terrorism”.

Isdefe has always been at the cutting edge of security, supporting law enforcement agencies in their fight to overcome the new and constantly evolving threats and challenges they face in this area. Innovation in security is one of Isdefe’s strategic areas, given our condition as the government’s in-house consultant on Defence and Security.
