Isdefe takes part in the presentation on “Systems Engineering: Devising Systems for the 21st Century”

This Thursday, April 21st, Jesús Alonso, Director of Business Development at Isdefe, will give a talk on “Systems Engineering Serving Defence”, as part of the workshop on “Systems Engineering: Devising Systems for the 21st Century”, to be held at the Universidad Europea de Madrid. The goal of the workshop is to share best practices and experiences in systems engineering, an activity that Isdefe has been pioneering for the last 30 years.

Collaborating in the event is the Spanish Association of Systems Engineering (AEIS), which will feature the Director of the School of Architecture, Engineering and Design, the President of the Royal Academy of Engineering and, from the Ministry of Defence, the Technical Director of the Tigre combat helicopter programme. As for companies, in addition to Isdefe, there will be representatives from ALTRAN, Navantia and Airbus, who will present systems engineering consulting projects applied to different fields.

The initiative supports the recently created Systems Engineering Platform, endorsed by Isdefe and other companies in the industry and led by the Royal Academy of Engineering, and whose purpose is to develop specific university training programmes.
