Successful end to the sixth edition of HOMSEC

HOMSEC continues to cement its standing as the main platform in Spain for professional exhibitors in the Security and Defence sectors. 

Isdefe took part at this event with a stand, confirming its ongoing commitment to new technologies and to the exchange of knowledge in these sectors, taking advantage of the setting provided by this show to arrange important meetings with national and international organisations, key companies and academia involving the technological development of the sector.

 

Isdefe’s stand was visited by numerous VIPs, including the Minister of the Interior, Juan Ignacio Zoido Álvarez, and the Chiefs of Staff of Spain’s Army, Air Force and Navy, General Jaime Domínguez Buj, General Francisco Javier García Arnaiz and Admiral Jaime Muñoz-Delgado y Díaz del Río, respectively.

 

During the event, Isdefe held a wine reception for the defence attachés and international delegations present at the Show, which was also attended by General Felipe de la Plaza Bringas, Deputy Director General of International Relations, and General Luis Manuel López González, Chief of the Foreign Support Office (OFICAEX), along with staff from the Office of the Deputy Director.

HOMSEC 2017 received over 3,000 more visitors than the previous edition in 2015, it featured 195 exhibitors and it expanded the presence of delegations from other countries, who were able to witness the best setting in which to showcase the latest in Defence and Security technologies.
