Isdefe sponsors the 3rd Cyberdefence Workshop of the Joint Cyberdefence Command on “Military Operations in Cyberspace”

The 3rd Cyberdefence Workshop, organised by the Joint Cyberdefence Command (MCCD), will be held in Ciudad de la Imagen from 22 to 24 May.

The proliferation of information and communication technologies (ICT) is resulting in society’s increasing dependence on every aspect of ICT. This new scenario is a primary consideration to take into account in national security, the rule of law, economic prosperity, the welfare state and even the operation of society and public administrations.

The topic for this 3rd edition will cover both the challenge of integrating cyberdefence into the operational planning process, as well as the impact of attacks on both operators and critical infrastructures, the legislative framework, etc.

The Cyberdefence Workshop provides a forum in which to exchange and debate ideas on the state of the art in every area of cybersecurity, and to share the latest advances in this field. It provides a national and international tool that will enable new opportunities for cooperation and development.

Isdefe is partnering and collaborating in these workshops, the opening ceremony for which featured Isdefe’s CEO, Mr  Francisco Quereda, and Isdefe’s Head of Security and Critical Infrastructures, Mr Oscar Pastor, who spoke about the Horizons Network and the Cybersecurity Observatory. An Isdefe engineer stationed at the MCCD, José Manuel Agrelo, will give a workshop on "MCCD: SACMAN", and Isdefe engineer Sandra Bardón, also stationed at the MCCD, a conference on "WEl NATO CCD COE: Organisation and future”.
