On 7 November at 6:30 pm, the Assembly Hall at the Spanish Institute of Engineering will provide a venue for the Isdefe Horizons Network workshop on “Cooperation in systems engineering innovation for defence and universities”.

In 2016, Isdefe launched the Horizons Network on innovation for the purpose of identifying, analysing and proposing innovative solutions to the Administration’s future challenges in Defence, Security and other areas. The Network aims to set up links with other initiatives in this field and thus provide connections between its own innovative capacity and that inherent to universities in order to put innovation at the service of the Administration.

Mr Carlos del Álamo, President of the Spanish Institute of Engineering (IIE), will kick off the workshop, which will also feature several speakers, including the Head of Business Development at Isdefe, Mr Álvaro Manresa. A Spanish wine will be served at the conclusion of the event.
