The Official Association of Telecommunications Engineers (COIT) and the Spanish Association of Telecommunications Engineers (AEIT) organised the 56th FITCE (Federation of Telecommunications Engineers of the European Community) Congress, which is held annually in a different country, and which this year took place in Madrid.

On 14 and 15 September, under the theme “The digital transformation: a challenge for Information and Telecommunications Technologies engineers”, professionals from multiple nations committed to basic and applied research on the digital transformation

The fourth edition of the “Youth Mediterranean Dialogue” was organised by the Spanish Youth Atlantic Council (COAJE), youth delegation of the Spanish Atlantic association, and featured the support of the NATO Youth Atlantic Treaty Association (YATA), in concert with Spain’s Ministry of Defence and Isdefe.

The gathering on “Satellites as a key element in security, defence and Public Administrations applications”, held in Santander from 6 to 8 September, was brought to a close by the Secretary of State for Defence, Mr Agustín Conde Bajén.

The seminar took stock of the importance of the sector, which was deemed to be essential to developing and activating the economy by allowing for the development of the industrial fabric and directly providing more than 4,300 high-quality jobs.

The 10th Seminar will be held on 6, 7 and 8 September under the theme “Satellites as a key component for security and defence in government applications”. This seminar is being organised by Ametic in concert with Hisdesat.

For the second time, Isdefe took part in the International Symposium of the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE), which was held in the Australian city of Adelaide from 15 to 20 July.

The event is an annual gathering of experts in systems engineering, professionals in the field and members of academia, as well as of solutions providers and companies from different sectors, including Defence and Security.
