The CESAR (Cooperation through Education in Science and Astronomy Research) programme is a joint initiative of the European Space Agency, through its European Space Astronomy Centre (ESAC), located in Madrid, the National Institute of Aerospace Technology (INTA) and the company Ingeniería de Sistemas para la Defensa de España (ISDEFE).

The 14th seminar on “Satellites as a Key Element for Security and Defence and Government Applications” is organised by the Multisector Association of Enterprises in Electronics, Information and Communication Technologies, Telecommunications and Digital Content (AMETIC), and took place from 7 to 9 September in Santander.

Isdefe took part in this event, and participated in two round tables featuring Isdefe's Director of Business Development, Mr Jesús Alonso, and the Director of Space, Ms Rosa Pulido.

Isdefe took part in the final workshop of the Petrus project, whose goal is to evaluate the quality of the Galileo PRS Service, aimed at government users, under laboratory and field conditions.

For two days, on 17 and 18 May, Isdefe welcomed at its headquarters professionals from Germany, Austria, France, Portugal and Sweden, as well as representatives from the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), the Multinational Logistics Coordination Centre (MLCC) and the European Agency Defence (EDA) in order to present the EDA’s “Federal Logistics IT Network” project.
