On 8 and 9 April, Isdefe organised and hosted at its headquarters a “Practical Seminar on Managing European Funds: Present and Future”, which featured representatives from the European Institute of Public Administration (EIPA) and the European Commission.

On March 26, the Capability-Driven Defence Research and Innovation Conference was held on March 26. This conference was organised by the Romanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union and Romania’s National Defence Ministry, in concert with the European Defence Agency (EDA).

The conference brought together more than 500 high-level officials from European Union institutions, defence ministries, research bodies, industry and academia.

On Monday, 1 April, Isdefe’s CEO, Mr Francisco Quereda Rubio, along with the Director of Business Development, Mr Jesús M. Alonso Martín and the Deputy Director, Mr Juan M. García Montaño, attended the working breakfast hosted by the Association of Public Administration Contracting Companies (AESMIDE).

AESMIDE is a non-profit association whose purpose is to act as an intermediary between service and supply companies and Spain’s Ministry of Defence. It represents 60 contractors for the Ministry of Defence and other public administrations from Spain and other countries.

At a public event held on 26 March at the Ministry of Labour, Migration and Social Security, Isdefe was presented a certificate for its “Talent recruitment programme, Tactics: Alliance for you Future”, chosen as one of the best corporate solutions for the future work challenge of the Enterprise 2020 European campaign for 2018-2019.
