Participation of Isdefe in the 50th anniversary of the Army’s Air Mobility Forces (FAMET)

Isdefe will participate in the activities organized to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Fuerzas Aeromóviles del Ejército de Tierra (FAMET).

Isdefe’s collaboration with FAMET has a long history, as it has participated in different projects of modernization of the fleet of transport helicopters FAMET, providing technical support in aeronautical engineering to the Dirección de Sistemas de Armas del Mando de Apoyo Logístico del Ejército de Tierra (MALE). Also, Isdefe has participated providing aeronautical engineering technical support  to the Army and the DGAM, both in the process of obtaining and managing the procurement and logistic support of the latest models of helicopter that have joined the fleet of FAMET, which are the Tiger and NH90.

This time Isdefe collaborates in the activities of the 50th anniversary to be held during the week of 5 to 14 April, and that will be framed in the seminar entitled "FAMET, Army Aviation," which will be inaugurated by General Jaime Domínguez Buj, Head of the Army.

The events of the 50th anniversary will feature an extensive program of activities, spread between the Escuela de Guerra del Ejército,the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería Aeronáutica y del Espacio, and the base “Coronel Maté” of the Fuerzas Aeromóviles del Ejército de Tierra (FAMET).

In the "Days of Technological Innovation Related with the Helicopter" Isdefe participates on April 7, with a lecture by Miguel Angel Palomo, Area of Processes and Methodologies Program systems engineer, entitled: "The challenge of implementation of EMAR standards in military maintenance organizations ". This conference will take place on the campus of the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería Aeronáutica y del Espacio (ETSIAE) of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.

In addition, on April 13 and within the "Days of operational use of helicopter units", there will be an exhibition of materials from the defense industry, in the "Coronel Maté" Base where Isdefe will be present with a stand.
