Isdefe gathers the CSR Working Group in the Public Sector

On 24 October, Isdefe hosted a working group of state-owned companies interested in collaborating on projects and initiatives that promote the advancement of Corporate Social Responsibility.

The event was attended by CSR officers from AENA, the Spanish postal service, ENAIRE, ICO, INECO, the national lottery company, Metro Madrid, RENFE and TRAGSA

The group was hosted by Isdefe’s Director of Business Development, Mr Jesús Alonso, who, in his opening statement, explained that the purpose of this meeting was to work toward the common CSR objectives of state-owned companies in order to better implement CSR in our organisations.

The meeting started with an overview of the social initiatives supported by this working group, which was followed by a debate on various proposals for joint projects for public-sector companies.

The event was closed by the Fundación Sandra Ibarra de Solidaridad Frente al Cáncer (Sandra Ibarra Together Against Cancer Foundation) and its “Diario de Vida” (LIfe Journal) project that, in addition to having a great impact and repercussion on society as a whole, aims to convey a clear life message to everyone currently living with cancer to help them overcome it in the best way possible.
