Now in its sixth year, the international Airborne ISR & C2 Battle Management Conference was held in London. This conference has a solid reputation among leaders in the airborne intelligence and command and control communities. The purpose of the event is to strengthen alliances, share strategic objectives and generate trust to improve global intelligence and the command and control infrastructures for air, space and cybernetic systems.

Isdefe was present at the 45th edition of the SATELEC Jobs and Technology Forum, which was held on 6 and 7 March.

Organised by the Society of Telecommunications Students at ETSIT-UPM (Advanced School of Telecommunications Engineers – Polytechnic University of Madrid), it featured a large number of attendees and participating companies.

Next Monday, 25 March at 12:30, in the Isdefe assembly hall, the 7th National Congress on Defence and Security R&D (2019m DESEi+d) will take place. Also at that event, the ISDEFE R&D book awards will be presented, containing the ten finalists from the previous Congress.

From 21 to 27 February 2019, Isdefe’s headquarters hosted the 25th meeting of the S4 Group (SG/2 Shareable Software Suite) Programme Review. Isdefe’s Director of Development, Mr Jesús Alonso Martin, offered words of welcome to the various representatives and to the Land Capability Group of the NATO Army Armaments Group.

The meeting was attended by a total of 65 officials representing 18 countries: Australia, Canada, Germany, Denmark, Spain, Estonia, Finland, France, Great Britain, Greece, Croatia, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Sweden, Turkey and the United States. 

David Martin Borreguero, an engineer in Isdefe’s Consulting and Process Management Office, took part in the 3rd “Consultation Forum for Sustainable Energy in the Defence and Security Sector, Phase II”, as a moderator in the working group Sub-WG2: Energy Efficiency. 

The event, a European Commission initiative managed by the European Defence Agency (EDA), was held in Nicosia on 26 and 27 February.
