The Prorector of the University College of Southeast Norway, Mr. Nils Kristian Bogen, and Isdefe’s Director of Business Development, Mr. Jesús Alonso Martín, signed a Partnership Agreement on June 7th in Konsberg that will allow both organisations, along with the university’s own Norwegian Institute of Systems Engineering (NISE), to carry out joint activities in the area of Systems Engineering.

Isdefe, along with other important companies in the industry, took part yet again this year in the Army Awards, one of which was presented by Isdefe’s Director of Business Development, Mr. Jesús Alonso. 

Yesterday the acting Minister of Defence, Mr. Pedro Morenés Eulate, closed the 2016 Cyberdefence Workshops, organised by the Joint Cyberdefence Command (MCCD). For four days, the workshops were attended by over one thousand visitors and were widely followed live online. The more than 70 presentations and talks can be downloaded in their entirety from the event website, through which more than 300 questions on cyberdefence were channelled. In his closing remarks, the acting Minister underscored how cyberspace is not a virtual location, but a real place that is essential to security.

As part of the conferences scheduled for the UNVEX 2016 Expo, to be held at the Cuatro Vientos Airport in Madrid from May 24 to 26, Carlos Regidor, Head of the Transport Quality and Testing Department at Isdefe, along with INTA R&D engineer María Vega, will give a presentation on May 25 at 3:30 PM on “DEMORPAS, project to integrate RPAs in ATM”, part of the roundtable on “Research and Development”.

Part of the SESAR (Single European Sky ATM Research) programme, the DEMORPAS project has been developed by a multidisciplinary consortium led by Isdefe, and which includes ENAIRE

The 4th National Congress on R&D in Defence and Security (DESEi+d 2016) will be held at the San Javier University Centre for Defence from November 16th to the 18th. Since its inception the Congress has enjoyed the support of the Ministry of Defence’s General Directorate for Armaments and Materiel (DGAM), and Isdefe, too, has sponsored and been involved with the Congress since its first edition.
