2016 Air Force Awards. Isdefe presents the award for “Promoting Aeronautical Culture”

Mr. Jesús Alonso, Director of Business Development at Isdefe, presented the award sponsored by Isdefe for “Promoting Aeronautical Culture” at the gala for the 38th Air Force Awards.

The recipient was Mr. Antonio Szigriszt Laca, the Director of Radio Exterior de España which, by broadcasting programmes like “Altos Vuelos” and “Radas 3.0”, has helped to spread the culture of aviation, and of defence in general.

The gala was held on June 23 in the courtyard of the Air Force headquarters and was presided over by the acting Minister of Defence, Mr. Pedro Morenés, who was joined by the Air Force Chief of Staff, General F. Javier García Arnaiz. Also in attendance were the Secretary of State for Defence, Mr. Pedro Arguelles Salaverría, the Secretary of Defence, Ms. Irene Domínguez-Alcahud, the Army Chief of Staff, General Jaime Domínguez Buj, the Navy Chief of Staff, Admiral Jaime Muñoz Delgado y Díaz del Río, and other officials.
