4th National Congress on R&D in Defence & Security

The 4th National Congress on R&D in Defence and Security (DESEi+d 2016) will be held at the San Javier University Centre for Defence from November 16th to the 18th. Since its inception the Congress has enjoyed the support of the Ministry of Defence’s General Directorate for Armaments and Materiel (DGAM), and Isdefe, too, has sponsored and been involved with the Congress since its first edition.

This year, a continuation of the three previous annual editions, will offer a forum to gather, integrate and create the necessary synergies between universities, public research centres, companies, laboratories and representative from related institutions. At this Congress, the results of the most recent research on defence and security will be presented from a technological and scientific viewpoint to facilitate the exchange of experiences, ideas and research projects in several areas of knowledge. In addition, the Congress will provide a venue for presenting and disseminating current topics of civilian research, such as dual use technologies.  

The deadline for delivering abstracts within the categories specified in the Congress Programme is May 15th, while the registration deadline is September 30th.
