Inaugural edition of Hi! Drone Technology

The first edition of Hi! Drone Technology drew to an end on 8 June. This was the first drone technology fair in Andalusia, a gathering for drone industry companies and professionals that was held at the Malaga Fair and Convention Centre.

The goals of this forum were to showcase the latest technologies in the drone industry, to promote cooperation among research organisations in R&D projects and to promote the use of drones in professional settings.

Present at this event were various professionals from the drone industry: engineers, software and hardware developers, distributors, smart city specialists. There were also debates on new drone applications in different settings and the latest legal and legislative developments.

Isdefe was an active participant at this gathering. Taking part in the roundtable held yesterday, 7 June, on the topic of “Automation and U-Space. The Future of VLL Operations”, was our Head of Transport Interoperability, Testing and Operations, Ángel Cepedano Beteta. 

The fair also saw roundtables on smart cities, legislation and geomatics, conferences on electricity grids, patents, thermography and presentations on products related with the industry. There were also hands-on activities to bring the event to life, such as outdoor and indoor flights showcasing the latest technologies, like RTK, inertial systems and airborne sensors, and live drone assembly.
