Isdefe raises over 8,000 euros in “Operation Kilo”

Donations from Isdefe’s sixteen hundred employees, plus a contribution from the company for 3,000 euros, resulted in a final tally of 8,402 euros raised for “Operation Kilo”.

The drive, which lasted one week, from 16 to 22 November, was held as part of the corporate volunteering initiative that Isdefe organised in concert with the Madrid Food Bank Foundation.

The food crisis brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic continues, and the Foundation’s “Great Food Drive 2020” campaign seeks to forge ahead with the efforts being made to help 190,000 people, including 33,000 children and 10,000 nursing babies.

The money raised will be used to buy food staples to ensure that food bank warehouses remain stocked.
