Isdefe relies on innovation to generate public value at the 3rd Ibero-American Congress on Public Innovation

On 29 and 30 September, the 3rd Ibero-American Congress on Public Innovation will be held at the University of La Laguna. This year’s event, sponsored by Isdefe, is organised by the Tenerife Island Council, the University of La Laguna and Novagob, the Spanish government’s social network.

The Congress offers a place for international experts from the public sector, academia, business and civic leaders to meet. This event will feature several roundtables, debates and sessions on the theme: people, values and management in technology to generate public value, efficiency and returns for the public.   

Tirso Camacho, Head of the Strategic Planning and Processes Dept. of Isdefe’s Office of Public Sector Strategy and Management, will take part in the session on “Constant Improvement and Microinnovation to Create Public Value”, on Friday the 30th. His presentation will consider the distinction between improvement and innovation and the open nature of the latter in the public sector.

Through its participation, Isdefe reaffirms its commitment to creating and spreading knowledge to improve and modernise government agencies, and its nature as an expert consultant for Spain’s central government.
