Isdefe takes part in the Advanced Strategic Studies Course for Senior Ibero-American Officers

The 16th edition of the Advanced Strategic Studies Course for Senior Ibero-American Officers (AEEOSI) has started at the Spanish Centre for National Defence Studies (CESEDEN).

The goal of this course is for groups of senior officers who already hold positions of responsibility in the Armed Forces of Spain and Latin American Countries, or who will do so in the future, to share a few days working together. This exchange of knowledge and experiences will serve to enrich the points of view of the attendants and to encourage the coming together of a true Ibero-American armed forces community.

This course is intended for flag rank and other senior officers (generals/admirals and colonels/captains) in the Armed Forces of Ibero-American countries.

Álvaro Manresa, Head of Business Development at Isdefe, took part in this gathering on 10 May 2017 during the conference on “Systems Engineering at the Service of Defence”. This conference, which lasted 45 minutes, concluded with a colloquium afterwards. 

The course, which will last seven weeks, includes four separate modules taught by university professors or flag-rank officers, depending on the characteristics of the module. The modules will deal with International Relations and the Strategic Landscape, Defence Economy and Industry, Defence Planning, and Defence Culture and Sociology. The general layout of the course was approved by the Chairman of the Defence Staff.
