Isdefe will participate in CIBERSEG 2016, the title of the Universidad de Alcalá’s 3rd Conference on Security and Cyberdefence. A series of talks has been scheduled on topics of interest in this area, where Oscar Pastor, Isdefe’s Security Manager, will take speak on "Los ciberejercicios como herramienta de protección y sensibilización ante las ciberamenazas" (Cyberexercises as a protection and awareness-raising tool in the face of cyberthreats).
Organized by the Computer Services Engineering group of the Automation Department, the DARS and Amaranto Chairs of the Computer Science Department, and the student bodies from the School of Engineering, the goal is to promote and advance issues related to Security and Cyberdefence at the college level, and will feature numerous specialized companies.
There will be workshops the second day of CIBERSEG, where participants can take an active role in a system and apply their knowledge of security and other skills to meet the challenges proposed.
