The Operations Command delivers in Mali Isdede’s Christmas Solidary Campaign Toys

The toys from the Isdefe employees’ Christmas Solidarity Campaign have been delivered by the Spanish contingent deployed as part of the Defense Staff’s international mission in Mali. The drive, which took place last December, was held to collect toys, maternity and baby clothes and food.

To hand them out in Bamako and Chetou, the Defense Operations Command Staff channeled aid through its civilian-military unit, with support from religious groups working to provide education in these areas.

While delivering the toys donated by Isdefe, the Spanish personnel deployed with the contingent monitored the operation and use of the facilities at several schools built as part of civil-military cooperation (CIMIC) projects.

At a school in Dianguinebougou run by the Angel de la Guarda (Guardian Angel) group, half of the donated toys were given to the best students from among the 1,500 enrolled. Subsequently, the Spanish Protection Force personnel and the Firefighting Support Instructors deployed in Koulikoro delivered the second half of the Isdefe toys to children at the Nelson Mandela Kindergarten.

With these initiatives, Isdefe employees have shown their solidarity and contributed with donations to help many needy communities, making an important objective of its corporate social responsibility a reality.
