#Stempills are webinars and training sessions for the children of Isdefe employees and are intended to inspire and promote an interest in science and technology.
The training sessions will be given initially by the Isdefe volunteers who took part in the initiative on 11 February, “International Day of Women and Girls in Science”, the goal being to open them later to any employees who wish to take part as speakers.
This includes the services that the organisation provides to the Cyberdefence Joint Command (MCCD), in which Isdefe engineers from its Cyberdefence Department support the Command with prevention, detection and remedial measures for communications networks, both through telework and in person for those activities that are deemed essential.
As part of the work that Isdefe is doing for the Sub-Directorate General for Planning and Managing the Digital Transformation (SGPGTD), Isdefe and other partner companies are continuing to provide support to all of the activities assigned, most notably the operational maintenance of the LexNET electronic communication system, and the MINERVA case management system, both of which are part of the Electronic Court Record System.
The Ministry of Defence has published a book titled “Premios Isdefe I+D+i. Los diez artículos finalistas del DESEi+d 2019” [Isdefe R&D Awards. The Ten Best Articles from DESEi+d 2019], containing the ten best papers presented at the 7th National Congress on Defence and Security R&D (DESEi+d 2019).
The congress was held from 19-21 November 2019 at the Navy’s Non-Commissioned Officers School in San Fernando.
Isdefe, through its Crisis Committee, convened to handle the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic within the organisation, has adopted the emergency measures decreed by the Spanish government in order to ensure the health of its employees and guarantee the continuity of the services it provides to the Ministry of Defence, the Administration and other public international organisations.
