Donations from Isdefe’s sixteen hundred employees, plus a contribution from the company for 3,000 euros, resulted in a final tally of 8,402 euros raised for “Operation Kilo”.
The drive, which lasted one week, from 16 to 22 November, was held as part of the corporate volunteering initiative that Isdefe organised in concert with the Madrid Food Bank Foundation.
The 3rd Space Engineering Congress was held from 24 to 27 October in a virtual format that featured over one thousand professionals in the sector from twenty different countries.
Raquel Pastor Pastor, an engineer in the Defence and Security Department’s Office of Surveillance Technologies for Public Safety, was tasked with leading Isdefe’s involvement in the Cyberintelligence-OSINT module of the C1b3rWall Academy, a training activity held as part of project C1b3rWall.
Isdefe’s CEO, Mr Francisco Quereda, and Isdefe’s Director of Business Development, Mr Jesús Alonso, presented the awards and certificates for the Exprés Tele-iNNOVACIÓN Contest to the creators of the winning ideas of this initiative.
The presentation took place on Friday, 30 October at Isdefe’s headquarters, and observed all the safety measures recommended to protect against COVID-19.
The Exprés Tele-iNNOVACIÓN Contest is part of a series of initiatives that Isdefe implemented during the lockdown as an exercise in lessons learned applicable in the future.
José Pablo Haro, coordinator of the satellite navigation group (GNSS) in the Navigation, Satellite and Surveillance Office of Isdefe’s Transport and ICT Department, took part in a panel held on 21 October on “European Deployment Developments”, which dealt with the main programmes and the anticipated evolution of the air navigation infrastructure in Europe.
