On 20, 21 and 22 April, Isdefe organised at its facilities the 1st Innovation Week.
"Isdefe through Space" was the theme chosen for this inaugural Innovation Week.
Isdefe, committed to innovation and to the goals of the 2030 Agenda, is organising this event to have its central day coincide with World Creativity and Innovation Day, established by the United Nations.
The go!SDG Awards aim to recognise and support those innovative projects that contribute to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, with the COPKIT project chosen as a finalist for its contribution to SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Solid Institutions.
Isdefe was voted a finalist at the 3rd Edition of the go!SDG Awards for its contribution to the achievement of SDG16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions. The COPKIT project is based on an early warning and response system to support police efforts against organised crime and terrorism.
The MDSCC is located in the Madrid town of Robledo de Chavela, and the new antenna, called Deep Space Station 53 (DSS-53), is 34 meters in diameter and is part of NASA's Deep Space Network (DSN).

The Círculo Foundation of Technologies for Defence and Security brings together, for the first time in one composition, the current and future female directors of the 22+ institutions (including ministries, administration, universities and companies) that make up the Foundation.
